The Environment and Natural Resources Department is one of IDOM’s most strategic technical areas and has seen strong growth over the last 15 years, collaborating with other technical divisions in the company: the multidisciplinary approach to projects is one of IDOM's trademarks. At present, IDOM’s Environment and Natural Resources Department is composed of more than 100 people, the majority of whom are biologists, chemists, environmentalists, geologists and engineers who have worked on projects dealing with natural resources management, land planning, strategic consultancy to national and regional governments around the world and international organisations such as the European Commission, World Bank and the Bank for International Development. This work has included the development of turn-key projects in renewable energy, waste management and clean production.
